***This shouldn't even require mentioning, but since everybody else does, it must be a problem. Therefore:

I use Photoshop 7, but I think it's pretty much the same in all Photoshops (correct me if I'm wrong).
I figured out how to make brushes basically by reading all of the tutorials. There are some more comprehensive and some less comprehensive ones...I was going for "more." This tutorial assumes that you pretty much have no clue what you're doing in Photoshop, which a lot of them don't.
Please comment - or + helpful, if you have the time, for better tutorials in the future.

Hey, Thanks for explaining all this stuff in such simple ways. I try reading the Adobe help files and just give up.
They should hire you on to write their tutorials!
I had no idea how to make gradients before! This tutorial is very useful for me because I'm a newbie when it comes to Photoshop. Thanks for the tutorial!

A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
